Texas Heroes of Conservation

When:      Saturday, May 01, 2010 
Time:       6:00-9:30 p.m.
Location:  Austin Renaissance Hotel 
Cost:        $125 for single ticket and $235 for couples
               Reserved tables of 10 for $1,200 and include preferred seating

Texas Ducks Unlimited will recognize five Texans for their individual conservation commitments at this unique event. The Texas Heroes of Conservation evening, including; cocktails, dinner, honors presentation and auction, will be held at the Renaissance Austin Hotel and Resort.

A keynote address will be given by special guest Carter Smith, executive director of Texas Parks and Wildlife.

Event honorees include:
Vernon Bevill – TPWD Small Game Program Director
Kirby Brown – Vice President of Public Policy, Texas Wildlife Association
Joe McBride – Owner, McBride’s Guns, Conservation Philanthropist
John and Bobbie Nau – Owners, Silver Eagle Distributors, Conservation Philanthropist and Sportsmen

These honorees have made impressive contributions to conservation in Texas and elsewhere through their personal careers, philanthropic support of conservation organizations, efforts to educate the public about conservation, and through a lifetime of sharing their own passion for the outdoors with those around them.
