Howdy from Cordova, Alaska!  This bear did not come easy and this adventure will remain in my memory forever!  In a very remote tent camp, my friend and guide, Mike Collins and I watched spring unfold day by day.  We saw lots of Black and Brown Bears, sows and cubs, Mountain Goats, eagles, ducks, geese, Trumpet Swans, beavers, and some very serious avalanches!  Our camp was comfortable; we ate well and had plenty of rain.  I made a 325 yard shot with my 375 H&H Mag. and it did the job accordingly. The large bear was a very mature older male and has a perfect prime pelt with a big white spot on its chest.  The bear measured less than 7 feet and I was not able to get a weight.  I am going to mount this beautiful bear life size.

This hunt will be featured in a new DVD coming out next year called Alaska Tracks. My guide, friend, and pilot owns Greatland Productions which has a website called Greatland Productions.

Greatland Productions is a new outdoor adventure and digital media company founded by Alaska residents in 2005.  We are located in Big Lake, Alaska.  Greatland Productions provides exciting Alaska outdoor films along with video editing and production services.

Best regards, Bob Robert King
