Wen't duck hunting near McKenny tx this morning. On the way out of my grandparents neighborhood in Richardson, my uncle and I almost ran over a massive coyote. I had read about them living in the sewers. I believe it now. Looks like he got fat eating Fluffy.

I killed a huge coyote with my truck right outside my neighborhood last week. There is no doubt in my mind what happened to the lost dog and cats I see signs posted for on the light poles all the time.

Keep yer eyes peeled!

The coyotes are making themselves right at home in residential areas now adays. Food is there for easy pickings...people let their small dogs and cats outside plus the food they put out for their pets and it's a ready made heaven for the yotes. One things that really worries me is the fact that many parents put their real small kids out in the fenced in back yards to play and only check on them every few minutes...a yote has no problems finding their way into a yard to get what they want.

That is scary. Have coyotes been known to hunt people.

I saw a coyote running across Ohio Rd in Plano back in April.  I looked like it has just ran back toward some undeveloped land from in between 2 apartment complexes.  I was maybe around 11 pm.

Also saw a bobcat cross Marsh Ln in Plano about 6 years ago, but that was right by a nature preserve.

At work in the middle of Sugar Land, Texas we have a pack of at least 4 (that I have seen) and 6 coyotes. They must be eating well, becuase these things are huge. I am sure hoping that I could get my bow out and thin them out, but I am guessing not, since I work for a liberal French company.

I actually saw a lone coyote walking along the edge of a field on the east side of Highway 99 in Sugar Land.  It was about 6:15 p.m. and there was plenty of traffic.  Didn't seem to bother him!

P.S. Hello Chester!  Its a small world!

When my neighborhood was just being build, a woman down the street called me because she knew I hunted. She told me a coyote came right up to her two year old as he was playing in the driveway. She ran him off. I killed that coyote(i think) two days later. I think he was rabid, but cannot be sure.

Keep yer eyes peeled!

Back in 1988 my father and I saw a coyote go into the sewer at the end of our cul-de-sac at Preston and Beltline in Dallas, TX, 75240. (That was not rural then, but didn't have all the shops it has now.)
