CRYING

One of the neighbor kids let my dog out yesterday, and I did not know she was gone until I went out to feed her. She is in heat and had run off.

I found her at the pound, but it was hard to locate her, as they logged her in as a lab, and I was looking for a Chesapeake Bay Retriever.

That is a lot of high dollar dog to almost lose, but thankfully I got her back.

I am going to get a chip put into her ear to make sure she never gets lost again.

I  had visions of my whole duck season just swirling down the drain!!!

A chip is affordable and added insurance -- might not always get your dog back, but ups the chances and is worthwhile.  Most chips are implanted between the shoulders, I believe.  Glad you got her back and hopefully un-bred!
