funny you never hear of someone trading a hunt for a fishing trip, hunting is getting too expensive these days.

Have you rented a beach house and in the same weekend booked a fishing trip these days? Better yet can you find one with knowbody else within 10 miles of you? Can you find a beach house where you can fish less than 20ft from the house and duck hunt 50yards behind it? In Texas that is... I really posted this in hopes of some land owners wanting to escape to the beach and switch some weekends for us to hunt and them to fish/hunt/beach comb or whatever they may want to do... Deer hunting is getting expensive but for a land owner it would be a good chance for a change of scenery...

I live on the water in Corpus and Fish year round for a living and that even sounds good. Sorry i dont have a hunt to trade right now but i will pass the word on to all the land owners to try to get you in the woods. Good luck.

Thanks... Yes it is a very unique place! My dad was born and raised in Corpus in the 50 - 60's. He has many stories about hitchhiking to Bob Hall pier when he was in junior high and fishing all weekend watching many record fish being caught then hitchhiking back. I think he said his mom would give him a $1 for the entire time. Some great stories about great fishing... Now we live in East Texas and Sabine Pass is about the clostest water we can drive to. Offshore is a longer trip and not as deep but the trout/redfish and bull/blacktip are spectacular. Where do you hunt/fish out of?
