Just recieved the word that my two custom duck calls will be arriving shortly!!! Although the season is over, it  gives me plenty of time to practice for next year.  I will be blowing a single reed and double reed call that is hand crafted by A family member and his friend.  They are starting up a local duck call company and it is in the works as of now but I will get to try out these calls and give them feedback.  But seeing as how I have heard and seen these calls in action, I pretty much know what to expect!  They are absolutly hand crafted and hand tuned for meat hunting.  they are not like these overpowering calls crafted from compitition designs offering ringning hail calls that are heard over 600 yrds away!  The double reed is soft, raspy, and the most realistic I have ever heard.  This is an awsome finishing call or timber/marsh call.  The single reed is a bit louuder, raspy and just as realistic and also has a great soft end as well.  It offers a wide variety to big water hunting and has a REALISTIC sound in the hail call.  I am eager to get my hands on these calls and give them a try.  Especially since both calls are more affordable than the leading brands.  (will not give any names) You can get two of these calls for the same price as one top end acrylic and they sound by far more natural and DUCKY.  If anyone is interested, let me know and i might be able to get my hands on a few more.  Will have to get back on pricing but will be cheaper than the leading company's prices.  There is no better advertising than word of mouth.  Or in this case, "Quack by Mouth"!  Here are a few pics of birds we took this season with these calls.  Most of what you see harvested is on various public lakes or rivers with steady hunting pressure.
