Hi All. Name is Christopher. I am a guide in Alaska. My guding season starts up here in the snow for Brown Bear, then Black Bear, then on the water (Salt) fishing, Then high up for Dall sheep, then Moose, then Mountain Goat. When I finish off the season, its back into snow again. I run a trapline all winter with over 300 traps and its all in snow. I am looking for a nice weather break and also a chance to hunt something different. I am interested in visiting texas next fall. Time of year would be November after my guide season and before my trap season. I would like a combo hunt. I have already killed axis, blackbuck, hogs, mulies and whitetails, and rams, so they are not needed. I am looking for some outfitters to make me a package and an offer on cost for what I want. My List. I want to keep my budget 3k or less. The best package offer wins:O)
Oryx- does not need to be trophy class, just a decent animal, more interested in the meat from it.
Meat animals- does are fine maybe even a cow elk, larger does are wanted, if I am doing meat, I would rather get more for my buck if that makes sence. May be interested in a buck if the price is right, but doesnt need to be a trophy.
Please use my email to send me offers, I am on satellite internet and some times it doesnt allow me in forums, sometimes it does. csferrieri@yahoo.com
I am wanting this to be a 5 night stay with hunting during the duration. I am not looking for a hunt where I show up and kill everything that day and go home. This is my vacation. I will not need a guide for this, unless its 100% your only way of doing things. I love to snipe coyotes and bobcats by calling so I can also do that as a filler for time. Again, not looking to be rushed, just have a good time and a good hunt in warm weather for a change.
Dont need much for housing, but also dont want to be in a dump, meals can be fixed for me or give me a kitchen and I can do it for myself. I can pack my tent and gear and do that also, I live out of a tent for 4 months of the year, so no problem with 5 or 6 days more:o) I am open to anything but want to stay on a decent budget and have a good time while doing it.
Lastly, prefer to have a place to freeze my meat while there? I will be taking it home on the airlines and frozen will be best option. I do all my own meat processing, so not needing a butcher, but maybe a place to freeze and hold it until I leave. Thanks a bunch for the offers and help in advance.
Best of luck in the 2010 season.
