Here is a pic of a beaver pond that I have acess to this year. It all ready has a lot of ducks in it. I saw a lot woodies, teal, a gadwall and a widgeon. Property owner said that it would fill up with greenies and gadwalls. It is 5 minutes from Ragtown recreation area on Toledo Bend. All the vegetation is duck food. No Salvinia.

Shooting ducks with a shotgun is easy, a camera not so easy. I did get this one that cupped wings and went in behind me.

Sat. we shot limits on the lake and went into the beaver pond Sun. Client shot a limit of teal and we were out by 8:30 am. We both regreted not bringing our cameras cause we had woodies landing not 5 yds from us in my pirouges. Easily seen a couple hundred woodies. Client booked for 2 opening weekend. We are camping on one of the two private properties that border it. It was a great hunt. Hundred of ducks and we couldn't even hear another gun shoot.

Was. I'll post pics after opening weekend. Lot easier to take pics of dead ducks than alive. They seem to be a little camera shy.
