Went out Saturday and fought the crowd by myself on public water, cause my hunting partner had a work meeting and could not attend and  I had my limit by 7:30.  Must of been fustrated with my ol lady cause I really took it out on the hens (Don't like shooting hens, but when it's right at shooting time and a heavy overcast it's hard to tell what they are).  When hunting public land though sometimes you cant be choosy, so it was a good day.  Monday though I took my pops out to the same place and filled our two limits, and it was his first time to actually shoot a limit of ducks which made me feel pretty good I could hook that up for him.  All and all opening weekend was a blast, now C'mon Saturday.  Hope everyone had an excellent weekend and Good luck on your next hunt.
