Info on SHNF

I'm new to hunting the SHNF and I was wondering whether there was much hog hunting there.  I've done some scouting off of 1375 where it crosses the lake and saw some sign like rooting in the low areas and tracks on the beach(?).  I heard some grunting Sunday, but the wind really started to blow and it was pretty much useless after that.  I'm going to do some more scouting this weekend on the east side of I45.  Any advice would be appreciated.  I don't wasnt to jump in anybody's spot, I just want to put some pig in the freezer.  Thanks.
