Greg, my hunting buddy who is moving to Missouri ended up having his move delayed.  As a result we had the oppurtunity to go hunting again and he got his first bow kill.  He shot the doe with a Redhead Parker bow, Redhead Carbon Maxx arrows and Rage 2 blade broadhead.  This was the first that I had seen a Rage broadhead in action, and it did a great job, the doe only ran about 30 yards.  I am very excited that I was able to be hunting with Greg when he got his first deer with a bow.

Congratulations Greg!!!  That's awesome man.  I'm very proud of you.  I hope you carry your new found hobby, bow hunting, up to Missouri with you.  I wish you the best of luck up there.  I hope things go great!

Hey, Greg that's the way to go.  I remember my first bowkilled doe that upon close inspection turned out to be a button buck. That was in early 1980's and I started in 1965 which is a long dry spell. I took a lot of small game ,but, no deer.

Fantastic!  Now that you've drawn blood, it's time to come to Colorado and stick and elk.  You won't believe the size of 'em when you get one on the ground.
