Hello Everyone, Well, today, fall most surely arrived in Rockport to the tune of about 50 degrees with a north gale a blowin'. Needless to say, my clients today, who were going to kayak fish, decided to reschedule. But, prior to today, the fishing has been absolutely fantastic! The water has been super skinny, it's been pretty warm and sunny and there have been herds of tailing redfishon most days. Both the week of the full moon and the week after have had motivated fish feeding morning through early afternoon. Dr. Todd and Dr. Clay on Thursday caught 30 reds on the fly on just one shoreline. I had to call Mike on my cell phone from the water just to make sure I wasn't dead and in fly fishing heaven! Friday and Saturday were equally impressive, with no end in sight! Yesterday, Andy from Boston had shots at 150 redfish at least. It's going to be interesting to see how this super cold blast affects the fishing tomorrow. I'll be kayak fly fishing again and we're going to have a chilly ride across the bay, it's supposed to be 49 degrees tonight. I have a feeling that this coming week will be just as good as it's been, and I can't wait to keep the good times rolling! November is shaping up to be just as good as October. If you don't get caught up in dove hunting, getting the deer camp set up and refurbishing your duck blind, make sure you get into the skinny water for some of this fall feeding frenzy! Hope to see you on the water! Capt. Sally
