Wade fished Aransas Bay saturday morning. Fished with live and dead shrimp. Caught one keeper trout and a few sandies. Had alot of dinks, plus a just undersized red. Wind was calm. At around 1pm we headed to the surf at Mustang Island, caught a few hardheads and the wind had picked up considerably. A buddy had a steel leader either snap or get bitten in half with one good hit in the surf. Woulda like to see that one. Then later in the afternoon we headed to Goose Island and fished the pier on the bottom, more hardheads. My buddies son caught about 6 to 7 reds, but they were babies. He was having a blast though. All in all not a bad day...
