We have game managed the ranch for the last 3 years and the effects are tremendous with sitings of multiple 150+ class deer and if your a Turkey hunter hold onto your hat or they'll carry it off. Its not unusual to see a hundred turkeys at a time strolling thru our Pecan orchard. We run a family oriented hunting ranch and all of the cattle are moved off the ranch during the general white-tail season. The fishing is great on the Concho River and we have many stocked tanks around the property, in dought times some of the tanks do go dry but many last thru until the rains start falling. The tanks are stocked with bass, catfish, perch and minnows. We allow hunting during all seasons where Concho County has something to offer. Our ranch is split by a farm road there is 200+ acres in the South where our house and the hunting cabin is located and 450+ acres on the North side. We are looking for 4+ hunters to hunt the North side during White-tail season. The hunting cabin has been remodeled by the hunting ranch foreman and brother in law, they have expended many weekends remodeling and have paid for all of the remodeling including running water and electricity to date so you will need to work out something with them to be welcome to use the cabin, they are salt of the earth kinda folks and I'm very sure they will work out something to use the cabin its just that it wouldn't be right or fair for you to come in after all the work is done and expect to use the cabin after they have spent years fixing it up and spending money on it. All family members using the ranch will need to be on the contract and have signed a release of liability any guest will just need to pay their fee and sign a release. If you have any questions feel free to contact me and we can go over any concerns.
