I wanted to get some good greenwing for the wall but allways tore them up to bad. maybe next year though. Good mixed bag.

We killed several that should have been mounted this year. January is the best time to get them due to the nice plummage. I want a nice blue wing.

We get the full plumage blues in about a month if you know what i mean! We have thousands litterally of greenwings roosting on our place but everyone we shot we tore up. I guess eavy shot number 2 will do that.

I know exactly what you mean. When they come through early, they aren't ready, and they come back after it is all over. Really good looking bird. I always hunt with either 3 or 2 shot as well.

I responded to your post on my hog pic about goose hunts. We have them roosting and staying on our planted fields and green fields. Goose hunts are $150.00.
