Global Warming is as much B.S. as the Global Cooling movement that was spearheaded by the same left wingers back in the 70's.

If you look at the covers of Newsweek and Time back around '75, they are the same alarmist headlines as the global warming headlines today, only in reverse.

These Global Warming advocates like to leave out he fact that the decade of the 30's was the warmest on record to date, and the 50's and 60's were the coolest. 

 

Once again some people think that they have figured out everything in the earth's 4.5 billion year history in our short time on earth. Modern records exist back just a few hundred years. Satellite info has only been available for 50 years. I'm sure glad these people are soooo smart (only in their minds). I can't believe the arrogance that these people possess. I could not imagine walking around saying that I know everything and you have to listen to me! For crying-out-loud, the northern part of our country was a tropical paradise at one time with incredible fauna and dinosaurs. Last time I checked, South Dakota was not a tropical paradise and the Rocky mountains were not under the ocean.

If the argument is it's too important to ignore well......Let us get rid of the stupidity gene that is becoming a dominant gene in the human race. Less than a hundred years ago we would sterilize stupid people so the could not procreate. Look where this has led. Do we now know that this is so important too that we must return to not allowing stupid people to breed? Would this solve many problems that this country is facing? Would candidates in elections then really be held accountable by the smarter public. Would our government know how to balance a checkbook? Would the U.S. have a higher output per capita if everyone were smarter? Would we graduate more students from our public education system? Could we find better processes for energy, transportation, medicine, industry etc?

Why the heck are we worried about the dadgum temperature?

Alls i know is that it has been getting hotter over the past 10 years, unless my blood is just getting thicker....So whatever it is, it's probably not good.

If we are indeed warming (which has been cyclical over the last several hundred years) there are many things that can explain warming phenomena besides a 300 parts per MILLION increase in carbon dioxide emissions.  That's less that 0.01%.  The freak shows that support this idea I wouldn't trust with a pair of safety scissors in a kindergarten class.
