These are pics from a hunt my buddy and I went on a few weeks ago. It was a lot of fun even though we only shot 6 ducks. At least they were all mallards. Sorry about the blur.

My buddies and I had an epic duck hunt Saturday morning. They really worked out spread.

Got these three Christmas day near Lockhart.  100, 100, and 95 pounds.  I didn't need the meat, and had even less interest in cleaning them, so gave them away to a coworker.  He was happy to get them, and I might be getting a duck hunt in return soon. 

The extra fencing material over the door is to keep my miniature Herefords out.  They like soured corn as much as the pigs do, and were tearing the trap up when they got in.  Now, pigs still walk in, but the cows have given up.

Five members of the Austin Woods & Waters Club (www.austinwoodsandwaters.com) recently visited the Panhandle of Texas to hunt ducks and sand hill cranes.

The land I hunt in Midland County happens to have the only water-source in the area running through it (Monahans Draw). Great lil duck honey hole and just an awesome place. Also only about 20 min from my parents' house in Odessa.

Duck Unlimited donation hunt 1/9/10 in Lometa in 13 degree temp. Broke ice to put out decoys.Turned out to be limits for all with ducks landing on the flapper 20 feet away. Great time had by all. Thanks D.U. and thanks to our host JK.
