Hello I am Scott Clary I have been guiding and operating waterfowl hunting for over 15 years. Our leases are geared towards the everyday waterfowler. We understand that everyone does not need to guide to hunt waterfowl and through proper land managment and hunter rotation we can provied consistant sucessfull hunting throughout the waterfowl season. Last season we harvested over 1700 teal with a 3.5 bird per hunter average during early teal season. Our hunters have accesss to over 10,000 acres of rice country on the katy, eagle lake , and garwood prairies.

There are 3 lakes built just for ducks. The lease is outside of quitman. I need one or two more guns. You can bring 1 guest per hunt as long as it is approved by the other hunters. The land was guided for the past 10 years with great success. You can also manage the land and ponds however you like as long as agreed on by other hunters. There will be 6 guns total. Today at Pheasants Forever’s National Pheasant Fest, U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced plans for a new Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) general signup. Secretary Vilsack also announced increased acreage allotments for three CRP practices significant to wildlife, and then signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Pheasants Forever.

Today in a joint press conference held on Roosevelt Island, on the Potomac River just outside of the nation's capital, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack announced the formation of the Wildlife & Hunting Heritage Conservation Council which will serve as the advisory committee to the administration to advise on policy affecting every hunter in America. Safari Club International was present for the announcement and will seek to play a significant role on the newly formed Federal Advisory Council.
