Kelly Haydel Duck Calling Lesson at Delta Waterfowl Banquet

Kelly Haydel Duck Calling Lesson at Delta Waterfowl Banquet
Summary:

Recently, the TexasHuntFish team went to the Heart of Texas Chapter Delta Waterfowl Banquet in Austin, Texas.

We had a great time and were lucky enough to have the opportunity to listen to champion duck caller Kelly Haydel, of Haydel's Game Calls, give a little duck calling lesson to the Delta Waterfowl members that attended that evening.

Hope you enjoy the video.

West Texas Goose Hunt

West Texas Goose Hunt
Summary: I lived about next door to Rochester for several years, near Knox City - the goose hunting in that are is just amazing, especially if you hunted the winter wheat or harvested peanut fields.  Since there's an old COE lake just north of the Brazos, which is near Rochester, at night time you would often see geese from horizon-to-horizon as they came off to feed.
