On August 23, 2010, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) was petitioned by the Center for Biological Diversity and four other organizations to ban all lead in fishing tackle under the Toxic Substances Control Act. This includes sinkers, jigs, weighted fly line, and components that contain lead such as brass and ballast in a wide variety of lures, including spinners, stick baits and more.  It is important that industry members send comments now! The stage is set for what could be one of the better waterfowl hunting seasons in recent years and Texas hunters will be able to take full advantage with a 74-day season and six bird daily bag limit. The 2010-11 late season migratory proposal was finalized by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission at its Aug. 26 public meeting.

We are known as North Texas finest waterfowl outfitter. We are located in a small town, Bonham TX.  Its located in North East Texas just 10 miles south of the Red River and about an hour north of Dallas/Fort Worth. We have been hunting North Texas for the last 16 years and have several thousand acres leased. There is always plenty of crop here in North Texas for the birds to feed on. We never hunt the same pool or field two times in one week, this is to keep the bird pressure down allowing a good hunt in the future. We will have two seperate locations set up ready to go for those who choose to hunt more than one morning. We provide all the decoys, blinds, dogs, as needed for that mornings hunt. We use several dozen decoys and a few mojos depending on the wind and area we will be hunting. We use layout blinds, t-post, hay bale and on some mornings we'll lay up in some cover. Feel free to bring your own calls and feel free to use them. We scout everyday of the week to help the clients get a more sucessful hunt. We try to hunt on Saturday and Sunday just to keep the bird pressure down, but for those who want to hunt during the week we will have a spot ready to go at all times.
