that is awesome, i personally would never, never try that myself. i am fascinated by long shots such as these.

let me told you somethin, DON'T PI--- OF THE SHOOTER. With that kind of shootin, I'm on his side. 950 yrds, he-l I could not even see the target much less hit it.

thats pretty sweet. you know though, a good bit of their shots are 1000yds plus, which is just mind-blowing for civilians such as ourselves. according to my uncles who were both in the corps every marine regardless of their military job has to qualify at 500meters with iron sights which is like 546 +/- some odd yards...pretty crazy

Sorry to bust some bubbles, but this shot and any shot on the internet involving .338 Edge. Were not accomplished by a Marine Sniper. They were accomplished by Shawn Carlock of Defensive Edge. They  were shot in Northern Idaho. Shawn is a world class shooter, gunsmith, hunter and guide. and firearm instructor.  So if any armchair Rambo claims otherwise, he is either delusional or just full of crap.  T. K. Collins

I hear you...but that's just what the email I got described and I unknowingly passed it on.  It is sad that folks often change the facts surrounding a clip just to fit their fancy.  All the same we're not 'delusional' or anything., so please don't shoot the messenger.
