Ringneck Drake
Category: Bird This is a Ringneck drake. The Ringneck is not a good eating duck, but is a fast flyer that makes for good shooting. A good looking duck in its own right.

I agree DW. I will pass on a ringneck unless the hunting is slow, but they are colorful with lots of purple and black.

Good headshot anyway. This site could use a page dedicated to bird identification. We have ducks fly into our lease all the time, but I wouldn't know which ones are legal.
