hmmm... guess the 200 guys that have looked at this don't duck hunt, they just read about it.

Where about were you duck hunting? What public area? Plan on doing something when I go up to the grasslands later this month. That is if i've already got some deer in the freezer by then. I saw a heck of a lot of wood ducks while turkey hunting this past spring. 

Opening morning 3 guys 3 limits. gw's, bw's, 2redheads, 4gadwalls and 1ringneck. It would have been nice not to have that lone ringneck but it completed the 3man limit. It was alot of fun and a good way to start off the season. I will be at it again this wknd.

Don't really want to say the lakes name, some guys get all torn up about mentioning it. I'll just say it was southeast of the big D. We did ok on Sunday though, at another place of course, so it made up for it.

Totally Understand. Got a bretty good idea of where though. I grew up near Athens in a little Town called Malakoff and I know of two or three areas within 20 or 30 minutes that are supposed to be pretty good. Proably won't be doing anything out that way this season though unless I hunt a relatives place in Corsicana. Has a huge tank on it and plenty of birds. None of them are duck hunters either so that might be something I have to check out...

Talked to some guys the other day that didn't do any good out there. Said there weren't a lot of ducks yet but I haven't been personally.
