Our ranch is in Kerrville and we are looking into buying a couple axis does and possibly a buck. Does anyone have a good suggestion as to where/who to buy the deer from?

  This guy I know from summerset tx, claims his sister buys axis deer at auction.  If I understood correctly she  breeds and sells  them . Her ranch is in Elmendorf tx,

don't buy at an auction, sickness and stressed out animals......

as far as price, just give the guy a call, nice guys and they will be straight with you....

you should be able to buy does from 150-300 each and bucks are gonna be  based on how big they are so i would say 300- up

i have white dahl sheep if interested in buying some different exotics.....young rams all the way to monster rams plus ewes for sale....
