Texas -

The Texas Wildlife Association welcomes Mary Pearl Meuth to its Conservation Legacy team. Mary Pearl will be working as an independent contractor in the Houston and surrounding area. Her focus will be youth education.

Mary Pearl was raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. She grew up pier fishing, duck hunting on Lake Okeechobee, and spending her summers at “Manners Camp” with her grandparents in Uvalde, Texas. Mary Pearl received her Bachelor's of Science in Wildlife & Fisheries Science from Texas A&M in 2007.

While attending, Mary Pearl was a member of the Corps of Cadets student organization and Aggie Replant. She spent her college summers working in Ft Collins, Colorado, for the Fisheries Cooperative Unit at Colorado State University incubating live specimen of tubifex worms (about the size of a strand of hair) and assisting with field work, such as raft electroshocking and catch and tag fly fishing.
