The history of AEL plays an important role in the success of the firm. Unlike most environmental firms, all AEL staff members have a background in natural resource management. AEL was established in 1993 by foresters and wildlife biologists.

AEL was created to bridge the gap between increasing environmental regulations and traditional natural resource management.  Terry Anderson, President of AEL, saw this gap as an opportunity to create a firm staffed by professionals with extensive experience in traditional forest and wildlife management and with extensive training and knowledge in the ever-expanding field of environmental regulations.

With that goal in mind, AEL has assembled a team of natural resource professionals with a thorough knowledge of environmental investigation balanced with a concept of achieving practical project goals and regulatory compliance. The company uses a multi-disciplinary, yet common sense approach to search for affordable and effective solutions to resource management challenges.

Wildlife & Fisheries Management
AEL has extensive experience regarding wildlife and fisheries management; working with clients that include non-industrial and industrial landowners, hunting clubs, and commercial hunting operations.
AEL develops wildlife habitat plans and provides technical guidance based on management objectives and target wildlife species. AEL also provides assistance with recreational lease programs.
The firm provides wildlife ecology and natural resource training to TIMOS, REITs and industry personnel. Past seminars and training courses include Threatened-Endangered Species Management, Wetlands Ecology, Waterfowl Enhancement and Environmental Compliance with the Clean Water Act.
